English model, actress and television presenter best known for hosting The Big Breakfast, and for the films Piranha 3D and Keith Lemon: The Film.
Kelly Brook studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London for three years before becoming a professional model. At eighteen, she presented youth television programmes on MTV, Granada Television and the Trouble TV channel, then, in 1999, she achieved mainstream popularity as co-host of The Big Breakfast, replacing Denise Van Outen.
Kelly’s theatre work includes Eye Contact at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig at London’s Comedy Theatre, and Calendar Girls at the Noel Coward Theatre, in which she played Celia, a role previously played by Jerry Hall.
Her films include Sorted, Ripper and The Italian Job. She also played the girlfriend of Superman’s nemesis Lex Luthor in four episodes of the American science fiction drama Smallville during the show’s first season.
She received positive reviews for her starring role in the 2004 British movie School for Seduction. She also played the character Nikki Morris in the video game Need for Speed Underground 2, alongside Brooke Burke.
Kelly appeared in Philippe Vidal’s 2005 film House of 9, a thriller about nine seemingly unconnected strangers captured and locked in a house together, forced to compete against one another to survive.
Kelly Brook had a lead role in the horror comedy remake Piranha 3D, the film receiving positive reviews and commercial success, grossing $83,188,163 on a budget of $24,000,000.
As one of Britain’s most glamourous women it’s no surprise that Kelly has fronted numerous brand campaigns.
Her first came in 1995 for Lee jeans. Since then she has featured in print campaigns for Renault Mégane, Walkers, Piz Buin and Kit Kat. In 1998 she launched the biggest bra campaign ever for Triumph’s Flaunt range, and was featured on billboards nationwide.
In 2010, she was chosen for Ultimo’s advertising campaign and in the same year made a surprise appearance live in a Clapham picture house as part of a promotion for Carlsberg and Sky 3D.
In 2012, Kelly announced a new homeware range with Argos. The range consisted of two collections; Hawaiian and Wish You Wear Here, and includes duvet sets, throws and cushions. Her partnership with Argos came as part of a long line of celebrity collaborations with the brand.
Kelly Brook with her high media profile and great presenting skills is a popular choice for anyone putting on a range of celebrity events or functions.
