Chris Tarrant is a British broadcaster and television presenter best known for hosting one of the world’s most successful quiz shows. Born on 10 October 1946 in Reading, Berkshire, he has enjoyed a broadcasting career spanning more than five decades.

His most iconic role came as the original host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, which debuted in 1998.
