Joshua Kane partners with Crystal Head Vodka

Joshua Kane, a British fashion designer and bespoke tailor, has partnered with Canadian vodka company Crystal Head to create three exclusive luxury bottle casings.

Three designs representing different “beautiful, rebellious spirits” have been made public as a result of the creative partnership between Joshua Kane and Crystal Head Vodka.

Joshua Kane said that he has “an affinity with Crystal Head Vodka, as a brand that breaks the mould in terms of perceptions of luxury and rebellion.”

He continued: “The skull bottle, to me, represents the rebel and an affinity with non-conformists which is something I identify with.

“I’ve always been a rule breaker and loved the challenge of creating these bespoke skull bottle casings using fabric from my runway collections, pushing boundaries in the craft of tailoring.”

It took Kane six months to create the hand-stitched designs. Due to the difficult dimensions of the distinctive skull bottle for Crystal Head Vodka, which was made by renowned artist John Alexander, the design went through several prototype iterations.

Joshua Kane’s bespoke designed and woven British fabrics, as seen on the runway, are used solely in the patchwork designs, which are featured on a limited edition of 200 bottles.

Three variations of the bottles are offered: black and gold, black and red, and black and white.

Beginning on December 20, customers may purchase the three bottle styles in Selfridges Oxford Street in London, Selfridges Birmingham, Selfridges Manchester Trafford, and Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square.
