Brit singer Pixie Lott has collaborated with jewellery brand Rock ‘n Rose to design a 23 piece collection, featuring oversized floral crowns, rings and statement necklaces.
A fashion shoot for the Rock ‘N Rose / Pixie Lott collaboration took place at The Victorian Villa in Hampton Hill. The quirky Victorian Villa B&B in Hampton Hill was chosen as the perfect setting to launch the Christmas Collection for jewellery boutique Rock ‘N Rose with a photo shoot by fashion photographer Ruth Rose featuring singer Pixie Lott.
The Victorian Villa provided just the right festive, rich, sumptuous setting they were seeking for the eclectic mix of colours, shapes and textures in the jewellery, whilst maintaining the playful, cute character of the brand, and Pixie herself.
However Pixie Lott was not the only star of the shoot. Hotel owner Sharon Parker explains that her cat Mr. Jinks also played a starring role!
“Mr. Jinks didn’t know he was going to be in Pixie’s video, but on the day, I was told that Pixie loves cats and wanted to meet Jinky Winky (his nick name). I had put him in the garden to keep him out of the way, as there were 18 people that arrived for the fashion shoot and video!” said Sharon.
Once the photographer Ruth Rose had set The Pink Silk Half-Tester Super King Bedroom they were ready to go. Pixie wore a beautiful black long lace dress with a black head band from Rock ‘N Rose. As Jinky is a large black cat with green eyes, he fitted perfectly into the shot, and Pixie and him got on very well. The introduction to them both from Sharon was “Jinky Winky, please meet Pixie!” which provoked roars of laughter from the crew and Pixie.
ROCK ‘N ROSE is a British vintage-inspired jewellery brand. Combining on trend style and unsurpassed quality, Rock ‘N Rose has quickly gained a following amongst celebrities, trendsetters and retailers worldwide.
Sisters Jess Lathan and Emily Jane Lathan are the creative force behind Rock ‘N Rose. Inspired by the years they missed, romance and a good cup of tea, the young designers gave birth to a brand based on all things pretty, fun and vintage.
Rock ‘N Rose was officially established in the North East in 2007. Today, the girls spend their time visiting vintage shops and working out of their Yarm studio – where they design, source and rework by hand with a small team of amazing girls.
Popular amongst the celebrity set for its quirky vintage jewellery and festival headwear, the line has progressed into exclusive vintage pieces and headwear.
Rock ‘N Rose is one of the most exciting and vibrant up-and-coming jewellery brands – named as Pixie Lott’s favourite jewellery brand in Summer 2011, awarded Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 at the Best New Business Awards and Young Entrepreneur 2011 at the WIN Awards.
In June 2012, Lott stated she’d started recording her third album citing Motown as inspiration for the album: “I’m going to be heading to New York to work with the guys who did the original Motown records in the ’60s to make a new album soon.”
